Awards and Published Work
Fifteen awards across twelve years of practice, and the projects that earned them. We list the shortlistings too, since a shortlist in a strong year often says more than a win in a thin one.
Interior Architecture
Our residential work has been recognised most consistently for restraint in small footprints — the Aoyama kitchen and the Milan bathroom both won in categories where entries are usually several times their size.
- Kyoto Sanctuary Penthouse — Residential Interior of the Year
- Aoyama Minimalist Kitchen Suite — Small Space, Highly Commended
- Milan Brera Master Bathroom — Bathroom Design, winner
Craft and Millwork
Two awards specifically for joinery, which we value most: they are judged on the built object rather than the photograph, with assessors examining tolerances and edge details in person.
- Concealed millwork detailing — Craft in Timber, winner
- Hinoki soak bath — Bespoke Element, shortlisted
Sustainability
Recognition here has come from material sourcing rather than energy modelling. Specifying a narrow palette from named suppliers makes provenance auditable, which is what these assessments actually test.
- Responsible Sourcing — commended, two consecutive years
- Retrofit over replacement — Adaptive Reuse, shortlisted
Published Work
Projects have appeared in international design press across print and online, most often the Zurich villa and the Paris Haussmann renewal, both of which document a full before-and-after transformation.
- Wabi-Sabi Lakeside Villa — four print features
- Parisian Haussmann Renewal — cover feature
- SoHo Biophilic Work Studio — workplace design press
